Official Statement from the Management Board

During the night of August 23–24, a fire occurred at our plant in Szczecin. Ten employees were safely evacuated, and we are relieved to report that no one present on site sustained injuries.

Thanks to the immediate and effective response of the emergency services, the situation was swiftly brought under control. Unfortunately, the damages are significant, and production will not be restarted in the near future.

In recent months, we achieved particularly strong production results. As an independent company, we successfully converted 85% of end-of-life tire mass into circular raw materials now being used to manufacture new tires – including TPO, rCB, and steel. Together, we built an important part of the circular ecosystem in tire manufacturing. Today, that makes this moment even more difficult for us.

Our full attention is now dedicated to our team, post-incident operations, and a thorough assessment of the situation.

On behalf of the Management Board and all our employees, we would like to sincerely thank you for the support, solidarity, and concern we have already received.

We are aware that this is a challenging time not only for our company and shareholders, but also for the entire industry. We will continue to provide updates and share information about the impact on our operations as it becomes available.
